This helps to keep up the appearance of our complex. If anyone is going to be updating or repainting their deck railings, please contact the Clubhouse. The HOA will provide the paint for you; just make sure you give them a little heads up.

The Huntsman Senior games will be using our racquetball courts. This will take place on October 7 thru October 10, 2009. They will only be using them for portions of each of these days, so if you are interested in playing racquetball during this time, contact the clubhouse for available times.

Please remember that Automatic withdrawal is available for the monthly HOA fees. If you have not signed up and would like to, contact the clubhouse and we will get the necessary information to you.

July 2009 Newsletter

July 2009 Newsletter

The weather has been rather weird this year. But the temperatures are finally hitting the 100's now. So although it is quite warm, there is still plenty to do to enjoy Sports Village.

The pools have been a favorite spot for all. We are excitied to see so many people using the amenities. With all the usage comes the worry for the crypto diease. We want to remind everyone of the rules for the swimming pools. (Please pass these on to your guests and renters)
They are as follows:
1. Everyone MUST shower before entering the pool.
2. Any child not potty trained or who is under 3 years of age are not allowed in the main swimming pool. There is a kiddie pool for them to enjoy.
3. Any child not potty trained or who is under 3 years of age must be wearing a swim diaper as well as a plasic cover.
4. Anyone under 14 years of age must be accompanied by an adult at all time.

We have had a few question on the age limits for the jacuzzi. They are as follows:
1. Anyone under the age of 5 is not allowed in the jacuzzi at any time.
2. Anyone under the age of 14, down to 5 years of age, must be accompanied by adult (18 years or older) at all time.

We appreciate everyones coopertation in following the rules.

One quick note for everyone. We have had many of you sign up for the automatic withdrawl. We are very excitied to get this started. However, all requests that were turned in were received after the 10th of June. This means that July's dues will NOT be taken out with the automatic withdrawl. The first automatic withdrawl will be deducted from your account on August 5, 2009 for August dues. If you have any questions feel free to contact the clubhouse.

Thanks for all that each of you do as homeowners. We look forward to seeing you soon!

With the hot weather we have seen lots of swimmers already! It is a great way for everyone to cool off and relax. We want to remind everyone about the rules for the use of the swimming pool. The rules for the swimming pools are as follows:
1. Everyone must shower before entering any of the pools and/or jacuzzis.
2. Any child under 3 or who is not toliet trained is not allowed in the pool.
3. There is a kiddie pool for their use. Please use it.
4. Any child under 3 or who is not toliet trained must be wearing a swim

Please help us by following these rules to avoid any unexpected closures of the pools.

Next, we have some good news. Sports Village is finally catching up with the 20th century. We finally have Electronic debit which will be available for all homeowners to use. We will be sending out a mailing by June 15th. This mailing will include the form that will need to be filled out if you would like to have your dues automatically withdrawn from your account. Any questions about this feel free to contact the Sports Village Clubhouse.

We are looking forward to a hot, but enjoyable summer. We hope each of you can enjoy the pools and all of the other amenities as well!

Wow! The weather has finally reached the 100’s. It is swimming weather for sure! We hope that as the summer approaches you can all take a little time to come and relax and take sometime for yourself.

The Board of Trustees held a meeting last month. They are going over many ideas that can help improve Sports Village. A few of them are:

We just want to put a quick bug in your ear about running for the Board of Trustees. We will be sending out applications around July.  We need people are a willing to serve and help keep Sports Village a first class place.

Monthly Update

Sports Village has outlasted the cold weather and the beautiful Dixie sunshine is starting to warm things up. The days have been full of sunshine, while the nights are still a little chilly. It is a great time to be in St. George!

There has been a new federal law that requires all swimming pools to have two main drains. This was done previously on the main pool during the remodel. The lap pool is currently under construction. We hope to have the lap pool up to code and running sometime during this month.

The clubhouse has new winter hours, they are as follows:

Everyday 10:00 am to 9:00 pm

These hours will be in effect until the end of March. During the upcoming holidays, the closing hours may vary depending upon usage. Please make note of these new hours.

We would like to remind everyone of the Sports Village HOA website. It is www.sportsvillagehoa.blogspot.com. Please feel free to check out this website. This website will contain updates, newsletters, delinquent lists and much more.

We hope each of you are getting used to using the payment coupons. We have gotten a lot of good feedback and hope that it can help with the expenses. For those of you who have had questions about having an automatic withdrawal, please contact your bank. Most banks have bill pay which is free of charge. There you can automatically set up payments to go out at the same time each month.

We hope you have a great February!
